The TruCut Ceramic Foundation System comes in one step earlier: at the base layer that finish actually sits on. The Foundation Pad is applied before your finish grit. It produces a more durable surface structure that holds your intended ball reaction longer and noticeably slows down the onset of lane shine. One thing to understand: the Foundation Pad is not a grit. It doesn't replace anything — it works together with the 500, 1000, 2000, 3000 or 4000 finish you already use.
